Warsteiner Mellow Dark Amber Beer
We record this one in “Studio B” at Kim’s house (what she prefers to call “the walk-in closet”) after an early celebration of Jim’s birthday. Following our delightful German meal at wonderful little place in neighboring Canandaigua, NY, Bill purchased a growler of Warsteiner Mellow Dark Amber, one of our favorites which we sampled over dinner. And so we sit down to enjoy it all over again with you!
With a marvelous, almost toasty, nutty upfront taste and a lovely mild sweetness throughout, this freshly drawn draft beer is surprisingly light for such a full-bodied specimen!
Pour yourself a brau, hoist your stein, and join us as we hear Bill rave about his German dinner and drink — which comes on the heels of his shocking Irish heritage discovery (not to mention his prevailing Italian ancestry)… it seems HopscotchWorld is becoming multicultural! Prost!
Zum wohl!
Bill and Jim
