Trying to get back to a more regular schedule of recording and posting reviews, we return quickly to launch Irish Whiskey Month with this delight from Ireland’s first craft distillery: the Glendalough Triple Barrel Irish Whiskey!

Wonderfully smooth, rather light, and surprisingly complex, this relatively young craft spirit yields unexpected degrees of change in character when sampled our three ways. We both wrestle with our choices, but ultimately Bill prefers it with two teaspoons of water while Jim finally leans toward chilled with whiskey stones.

Pull up a Tuam chair and join us in toasting Erin Go Bragh and a return to the green of spring! May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
